i was down with fever from last sat nite and slept all the way tru till sun afternoon- 3pm.. and my oh my, was glad to wake up to a well-fed son for bfast, and a freshly cooked lunch for us all.. simple menu but tasty enuff to feed my hungry tummy.. :-)
and guess who was the chef of the day....? our beloved dady!! yeay... :->
thank you dady for the nice meal.. despite the rising costs of living etc..etc.. we are grateful for the blessing that we still have food served on the table.. and we have u to be thanked for too.. alhamdulillah..
despite having fever i still had to do some cooking that afternoon.. by request from son who demanded for his favorite fried chicken. and as a result i got my left hand burnt from the splash of hot oil. the scar is still fresh and obvious-check out the pix. and tis is not my 1st time u know.. hmmm.. maybe i don't realy belong to the kitchen.. hehehe :-D
oh well dady...Jamie Oliver might be The famous Naked Chef, but you are our favorite chef.. and we will remember u this way.. no matter what happens..
